I have to say that this is one resort that really took me by surprise. When trying to find it, I thought I was in a scene straight out of Maybury. The resort  is nestled in the picturesque and unspoiled Laurel Highland Mountains of western Pennsylvania. As I drove through the gates of the Nemacolin resort, it was like a whole new world opened up.
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa offers the ultimate vacations for nature lovers, golfers and spa enthusiasts alike but within the resort there is a hidden gem – Falling Rock. Inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, Falling Rock stands tall among the Pennsylvania countryside with its natural stone exterior, fountains and heated outdoor infinity pool. You are greeted with a warm feeling as you pull into the drive way. Even though this is a 5-star property there is no pretentious air here.

There are so many things that I adored about my experience but unfortunately I am not here to write an essay. My favorite thing about Falling Rock other than the décor and pool? Oh how I loved the 24-hour butler service and 1,200-thread-count sheets. There is nothing like having your butler run your bath and accent it with orchids and candles. Oh did I mention he brought me an evening snack of chocolate covered strawberries? I personally do not think that pictures on the web do it justice so I encourage you treat yourself and make your own judgment.
